The lifeSTYLED Style Crew made the trip to High Point Market in North Carolina—the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world—and came back absolutely inspired. High Point is a massive "little town" of vendors, and a whirlwind of beauty, boldness, and brilliant design. Now that we have our own storefront in downtown Auburn, we’re more energized than ever to bring what we saw home.
So, what’s trending? Here are the standouts that have us energized for all of our new installations and restocking our shelves with fresh finds.

Organic, Textural, Totally Natural
Earthy finishes were everywhere. We saw rattan, cane, and boucle used in everything from chairs to headboards, adding layers of natural warmth and softness. Darker wood tones are also making a strong comeback, replacing cooler greys with richer, moodier finishes. Think walnut, mahogany, and espresso—tones that bring depth and comfort to any space.
A fresh palette of greens, rusts, and soft naturals. Powder blue and chartreuse stood out among the bolder choices—a nod to color lovers not afraid to make a statement.

Curves, Contrast & Cozy
Furniture silhouettes are softening. Curved sofas, chairs with rounded backs, and playful shapes felt like a hug in design form. Upholstery details like contrast piping, tassles, and fringe were everywhere, elevating even simple pieces with custom flair.
From layout to function, it was clear that togetherness is trending. Gaming tables made a strong appearance—proving that functional doesn’t have to mean boring. Whether it’s poker, backgammon, or chess, these pieces invite play, fun, and coziness into the home.

Moody & Glam
While natural textures were big, there was also a bold undercurrent of glam. Velvet in rich tones, high-gloss finishes, and striking accent lighting added a layer of drama. Art leaned dark and expressive—landscapes and botanicals with deep hues, perfect for adding a moody moment to any space. We’ve mentioned it before, but it bears repeating—tassels and fringe continued to elevate the glam aesthetic we saw throughout the market.
Wallpaper is here to stay—from murals to modern takes on traditional patterns. And we couldn’t help but notice a modern twist on the classic barley twist—showing up in legs, accents, and unexpected places.
